Welcome to The Blossom Road Renovation
Located on a quaint street in Rumson, this renovation project of a classic 1950's home posed a fun and inspiring design challenge. We were able to blend the homeowners modern style with the timeless integrity of the colonial-style architecture. Blowing through a wall for a grander "great" room while working within the limits of the sub-8 foot ceiling heights in the kitchen made for a truly one-of-a-kind home.
The modern silhouettes of the furniture help bring juxtaposition to some of the classic elements we reintroduced in the designs--such as shaker-style cabinetry, and darker hardwood floors. Punches of vibrant color and layers of bold marble & leathers help to bring life and personality into the space. Timeless soapstone counters anchor the kitchen while a removable bar shelf in front of the passthrough window adds a unique element for entertaining.
